Different Reader, Different Style

The Tarot reader you choose can make a world of difference. Just as people have their own unique personalities, Tarot readers can have their own unique style or method. Whether it’s a different style of shuffling the cards or the way they interpret the cards, you may find that a reader’s technique isn’t to your liking.

For this reason, it’s a good idea to consult with a reader before actually spending money to work with them. If you choose to do so, it could be a good thing to have questions prepared for the reader or perhaps ask them for lots of details on how they do a reading. For example, some readers may have a ritual or prayer they do before a reading and some may not. If this is important to you, you should definitely ask about it. There are readers who will involve you in their interpretation, while others rely solely on their own intuition. Is it valuable to you to have input to your reading? If so, this is a question you should pose.

There are readers who offer a “free sample” of a limited reading for you. I strongly suggest you take advantage of that opportunity if it’s available.
