The Tarot and Relationships with Your Siblings

Of course, not everyone has siblings. Sometimes , though, even though a person may not have one or more “blood” siblings, they could have people in their lives who seem like a brother or a sister, whether it be a special friend or a step brother or step sister. These can be very complicated relationships and the Tarot can help lead to clarity in how to deal with the complications.

Here is a three-card spread that answers a querent’s question regarding their troubles with a sibling. The querent (or the person for whom the cards are being read) is having issues getting along with their brother or sister and is seeking a solution so the relationship can be more happy and harmonious.

The first card, XVIII The Moon, tells us there is a hidden path to the solution and that the path will soon be revealed. The 2 of Cups lets us know that there truly is a resolution to this issue, as it shows two people who are getting along. The third card, the Knight of Swords, shows us a person who is headed in the direction of the past, although inherent in this card is the meaning that there is forward motion in this plight. The solution being implied here is that the querent needs to reverse course in how they’ve been treating their sibling and peace will come.
