How Do I Choose A Tarot Reader?

Choosing a tarot reader who fits you can really make a difference. It may seem to you that all tarot readers are the same, or very nearly the same, but this isn’t the case at all. Just as you have your own personality, each tarot reader has his or her own personality, too. Just as you have your own way of (for example) cooking, each tarot reader has a different manner in which they read the cards. It can even make a difference in how s/he interprets the symbolism behind each different card.

So what is the best way to choose a tarot reader who is right for you? You have a few choices for your investigation.

One way is by checking out a website if they have one. Take a look around the site and see if it “feels right” to you. Are there testimonials or reviews available? You can read them and see if what each querent (or person for whom the cards were read) seems to match what you’re looking for in a reading.

Another way is through a person you know who’s had a reading from someone you’re looking into. If this person is willing, ask them as many questions as you can think of to see if the tarot reader seems to do their task in a way you’re comfortable with.

Some tarot readers will offer a free mini-reading. That’s a great way to familiarize yourself with their style and make a decision as to whether or not they’re compatible with you. Book a reading and have a legitimate question in mind for them to check out for you.

Something else you can do is contact the reader directly and ask them about their readings to see if you’re willing to move forward with them.

As you can see, there are different ways of checking a tarot reader out. If you’d like, you can use one or more of them to make an evaluation of her or him, thus giving you the information you need to make an informed decision.

If you feel called to experience working with me as your tarot reader, you can book a reading by using the “Book A Reading” link above. Or, of course, you can e-mail me at margaret@mystictidestarot.com to ask any questions you may have so you can make that informed decision.
